Located in the peaceful setting of Sodwana Bay bordering with the stunning Sodwana Bay National Park, Zulu Scuba is your perfect base for exploring the underwater wonders of the Sodwana Bay reefs.

Sodwana Bay boasts miles and miles of reef and fascinating topography, Sodwana Bay is home to some of the world's best scuba diving. With pristine coral reefs, lush coral gardens, huge schools of fish, rare critters, manta rays, and even dolphin and whale sharks - there's something for everyone at Sodwana Bay!

On top of all that, the hospitality of the Zulu Scuba dive staff, along with the warm waters and picturesque landscape will give you some of the best memories in your entire scuba diving life.


We offer various PADI certified training courses, from beginner's easy introductory diving and open water diver, to Divemaster. We also provide a pick-up service from Durban's King Shaka International airport.

  • The Zulu Scuba Team is made up of dive Masters, skippers, instructors and those vital members who run operations at Zulu Scuba.
  • We're a team of professionals, some of us with over 20 years of diving in Sodwana as well as having plenty of experience in the hospitality sector.

Let's Dive

  • We launch our Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat from Jesser Point, inside the Sodwana Bay National Park
  • Each dive is preceeded by an in depth pre-dive briefing with safety and buddy checks, as well as highlighting what to look out for.

At The Surface

  • On the journey to some of reefs, especially the further reefs such as 8 Mile and 9 Mile, we may encounter Whale Shark and dolphin at the surface, giving you the opportunity to join them with just fins and a snorkel.
